Just like reading the preface of a new book or the liner notes in a just purchased album so studying the inspiration for this letter from Paul to the Philippians will help us not only enjoy but also grow in Christ as we read it.

Theme: One way to have joy in our lives is to, everyday, say a prayer of thanksgiving and of intercession for others.

Joy in Jail – a message taken from Philippians 1:12-26 where we read about Paul finding Joy even while he is in prison in Rome.
Theme: In the worst of circumstances it’s possible to find true Joy

Fighting for Joy – a message taken from Philippians 1:26-30 where Paul tells us that sometimes you have to stand together and fight for joy in your life and family
Theme: Determine to stand up and fight against the enemy of joy in your life and family
June 24th *Missionary Moment: Mark and Young Waters/Communion
The Joy of Unity – a message taken from Philippians 2:1-18 where Paul tells us about the incredible joy that comes to our lives when we live them out in unity with Christ and with other Christians
Theme: There is something incredibly joyful in living life out in unity with Jesus and others who also follow him.
