*Registration is closed for the current OHI session. Check back soon to see what's being offered this spring.

Starting Point

Instructor: Julie Kuckler
Welcome to a conversational small group environment where you can explore faith, experience community and see how your life is a story. The Bible helps us understand that the real story is about God and how He uses so many different ways to help us understand Him. Book fee.

Instructors: Oak Hills Staff & Elders
The Bible tells us that the responsibility of the leaders of the church is to ‘Equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.’ Along the way, we will explore the mission, core values, vision and beliefs of Oak Hills Church. As part of this class, you’ll take a spiritual gifting assessment and begin serving in a ministry using these gifts.

Start It Well: One-Year Bible Class

Instructors: Rob Armfield, Buzz Brookman & Tom Shetler
Follow a daily Bible reading plan and come together with others for conversation. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of the Bible as a whole. When OHI concludes, this class will continue meeting twice a month.

Renewing the Heart (women only)

Instructors: Jackie Foley & Julie Lord
Join the women of Oak Hills Church in drawing closer to Christ. Learn how to allow the Holy Spirit to turn Pride into Humility; Denial into Honesty; Addiction into Freedom; Control into Rest; Bitterness into Forgiveness; Guilt into Purity; Conflict into Peace and Fear into Boldness. Bring a Bible, a simple notebook or prayer journal and a hunger for the Lord.

The Reason for God

Instructor: Joel Carufel
Responding to the questions of open skeptics and ardent believers, Timothy Keller uses literature, philosophy, real-life conversations and reasoning to explain how faith in a Christian God is a soundly rational belief, held by thoughtful people of intellectual integrity with a deep compassion for those who truly want to know the truth. Book fee.

Beautiful & Loved (women only)

Instructor: Kjersti Bohrer
Do you have a heart for women working in the adult industry? This is an outreach care group serving these women where we’ll explore God’s compassionate view, the business and psychology of the industry, and ways you can serve.

You'll Get Through This

Instructor: Paul Hieb
God redeems the broken. This is a care group for those craving hope in the midst of tough times. As a small group, you’ll walk through Max Lucado’s DVD and study guide, You’ll Get Through This, and learn that God doesn’t promise that getting through trials will be quick or painless, but that He weaves what was meant for evil into good. Book fee.
