Oak Hills Institute Classes (OHI)
Wednesdays, 6:30-7:45p at Oak Hills Church
Fall Session: September 10 - October 29
Instructor: Julie Kuckler
Welcome to a conversational small group environment where you can explore faith, experience community and see how your life is a story. The Bible helps us understand that the real story is about God and how He uses so many different ways to help us understand Him. Book fee.
Instructor: Oak Hills Staff & Elders
The Bible tells us that the responsibility of the leaders of the church is to ‘Equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.’ Along the way, we will explore the mission, core values, vision and beliefs of Oak Hills Church. As part of this class, you’ll take a spiritual gifting assessment and begin serving in a ministry using these gifts.
Instructor: Pastor Jen Galley
This study will empower you to partner with the Holy Spirit to create a home environment that will encourage your child to know God’s voice, desire to obey him, and follow Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit for a lifetime. Perfect for parents of children ages 0-18. Each session will include video teaching, group discussion, and practical action steps to try at home. Book fee.
The Reason for God
Instructor: Joel Carufel
Responding to the questions of open skeptics and ardent believers, Timothy Keller uses literature, philosophy, real-life conversations and reasoning to explain how faith in a Christian God is a soundly rational belief, held by thoughtful people of intellectual integrity with a deep compassion for those who truly want to know the truth. Book fee.
Balanced: Financial Stability
Instructor: Austin Colby, CFP
Can you be unbalanced financially and still be a devoted follower of Christ? What does it even mean to be financially balanced? In this study, you’ll be challenged to examine what you really believe about finances and faith. Book fee.
Gospel of John
Instructor: Jay & Angela Samuleson
We will conclude this study with the Holy Spirit’s ministry in John 16. Then, we’ll gain insights by looking through the eyes of the faces at the cross and end with the marks of a fully devoted disciple of Christ living out His legacy.
